Lata Gullapalli

I, Lata Gullapalli, am an investment banker by profession, specialising in mergers and acquisitions. I have worked in investment banking for over 20 years in South Asia, Russia and the U.K. 

 

I advise companies on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructure and capital raising. I have designed products for raising capital. I have set up and run start up companies, devising strategy and funding for them. I have lead teams to enter into joint ventures and taken a company public with an initial public offering. 

 

I am an author, with published works and currently am working on my first complete novel. 

 

I have studied and have qualified with honours in corporate law, financial strategy, taxation and economics, among others. I have an MBA from INSEAD  and am also a  Chartered Secretary, a Chartered Financial Analyst (I) and have a Diploma in Basic Finance.

 

 I work with NGOs in the U.K. and in India that are focused primarily on and are involved in child protection, education for the girl child and orphaned children.
